Eric Nielson is the CWDA Executive Liaison with the California Health Eligibility Enrollment Retention System (CalHEERS) project.  He represents the 58 County Human Services agencies, their business requirements and system needs at the CalHEERS project.

Prior to joining CWDA, Eric served as the Director of Community Social Services for Lassen County for five years.  During his time as County Director, Eric served on CWDA Executive Committee as CWDA representative for the 20 small Counties and as a member of the JPA Board of the C-IV Statewide Automated Welfare System.   His human service career began in 2005 as an Eligibility Worker.  Eric has a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Brigham Young University.
