Grace Gomes joined CWDA as the CMIPS Project Liaison in 2014 and works with the state, counties and CMIPS Project Office to ensure counties’ needs are represented during the Maintenance and Operations Phase of CMIPS. Grace joined the CMIPS Project early on as a county representative during the initial procurement and design, development and implementation stages of CMIPS.

Prior to joining CWDA, Grace worked as a state contractor to provide subject matter expertise in the In-Home Supportive Services Program and then to provide Business Services Manager/Testing services to the state’s CMIPS Project. Prior to contracting with the state, Grace was employed for 25 years with Fresno County as a Program Manager and Principal Administrative Analyst. Grace has extensive experience in supervising aging services programs including Older Adult Mental Health, Adult Protective Services and In-Home Supportive Services. Grace holds a master’s degree in Social Work and a certificate in Gerontology from California State University, Fresno.
