#EMPOWERSBC:
Leveraging Video and Social Media to Overcome Poverty
In January 2018, San Bernardino County Human Services launched #EmpowerSBC during poverty awareness month in an effort to highlight the resources available to county residents that can ”empower” toward self-sufficiency.
This campaign had a social media presence that incorporated video to create awareness of these valuable services to our residents. This presentation will share best practices of how San Bernardino County’s communications team used video and social media to put the “human” in human services by putting a face on those who provide and receive services.
