This is the first of two sessions that will highlight the county social services departments’ role in emergency response and recovery in order to create an awareness about the roles and responsibilities of departments during emergency response and recovery efforts; to share lessons learned with regards to emergency response efforts during the past few years; and to give tips, strategies and tools for emergency response and recovery.
